Provision of Fire Risk Assessments
Descriptions
Radian requires a contractor to provide fire risk assessments (FRAs) in compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The contractor will complete new and review existing FRAs using a recognised standard such as PAS 79:2012 or equivalent. The risk to be assessed is ‘risk to life’. We currently have approximately 1 000 plus buildings with ‘common parts’ that require an FRA, including our corporate premises, across the Radian geography. They are on a rolling programme of re-assessment or review, based on risk or type of property. We also require a comprehensive IT system for managing and tracking the information from the assessments and actions that arise.
