Translink is responsible for both maintenance and capital works to infrastructure on the Northern Ireland Railways (NIR) network. Translink is currently progressing a project to upgrade its drivers’ cab-wayside cab radio system and, as part of this project, will replace the existing analogue VHF cab radios, antennae and associated handsets, with new TETRA equipment.
