Blaenau Gwent CBC are testing the market in relation to seeking companies to express an interest in implementing a pedestrian footfall counting solution across the Borough of Blaenau Gwent. This solution will provide information regarding the health and performance of the town centres and will also help officers assess the impact on these towns and assist with future policies in relation to town centre regeneration.Currently there are footfall counters within the 5 towns namely:-Abertillery – Formerly Ferraris, Church StreetBlaina – Post Office, High StreetBrynmawr – New Look, Beaufort StreetEbbw Vale - Police Station, Bethcar StreetTredegar – The Walkway, Commercial StreetAt tender stage, companies will be required to visit sites and propose the most appropriate locations for the counters to be located.
