Cadent Gas owns 4 of the 8 eight regional gas distribution networks. We look after the gas pipes in your area. We're committed to keeping you safe and warm. We bring gas to 11 million homes and businesses throughout the North West, West Midlands, East of England, East Midlands and North London, in an efficient, reliable, and safe manner.Cadent exists to keep the energy flowing. We're proud to be at the heart of heat and we work closely with our communities to keep them safe, warm and connected, providing extra care for those who might need it in a gas emergency. We maintain, repair and replace gas pipes to ensure the safe and reliable flow of gas now and long into the future. We manage the national gas emergency number on behalf of the gas industry, responding to gas escapes and repairing leaks.This means that we must maintain our infrastructure network to a high standard and ensure the network is capable of meeting Great Britain's energy demands, such as accommodating the growing use of gas by our customers. To support this, Cadent's back-office support teams must be able to engage with its networks and depots throughout the country.
