Section 46 of the Public Health (Control of Diseases) Act 1984, places a statutory duty on local authorities to make arrangement for funerals for those people who die or are found dead within the Authority’s administrative area, where no other suitable arrangements have been or are being made.In order to ensure a high and standardised level of service for funerals arranged under the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984, the Council proposes to award a Contract to a Funeral Director to provide a service as outlined in the attached specification document.Tenders must be submitted electronically https://supplierlive.proactisp2p.com/Account/Login
