Applications are invited from service providers wishing to tender for the Provision of Independent Living Services for Adults with Learning Disabilities in their own homes in several localities in Pembrokeshire for the period 1st April 2011 to 31st March 2016 with an option to extend for a further 24 months.There are 6 distinct and separate services offered as 4 lotsLOT 1 PROC/1011/057 – 01 – Haverfordwest Area (3 Services) •01A oGroup Supported Living service for 2 Service users (inc. 1 vacancy)o14 support hours per week* + those generated by filling the vacancy•01B oGroup Supported Living service for 2 Service users o17.5 support hours per week* •01CoSupported Living service for 1 Service user o29 support hours per week* LOT 2 PROC/1011/057 - 02 – Haverfordwest Area •Group Supported Living service for 2 Service users •73 support hours per week* with 7 sleep-insLOT 3 PROC/1011/057 - 03 – Haverfordwest Area •Group Supported Living service for 2 Service users •138 support hours per week* with 7 sleep-insLOT 4 PROC/1011/057 - 04 – Haverfordwest Area •Group Supported Living service for 2 Service users + 1 Vacancy•205 support hours per week* + those generated by filling the vacancy, with 7 sleep-ins *Support hours quoted in the above Lots will be based on individuals assessed needs and may fluctuate accordinglyYou will require an in-depth knowledge of Learning Disabilities and behaviours that challenge, together with a full understanding of national minimum care standards.The attention of any prospective tenderers is drawn to the provisions of the Acquired Rights Directive 77/187/EEC and the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 1981 which in the view of the Council may apply to these contracts.This is a Category 2 Tender whose estimated value is between £250,000 and £500,000
