The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) was established by the Police and Fire Reform Act (Scotland) 2012 (the Act) and replaced previous 8 legacy services. It commenced operations on 1.4.2013.SFRS has approval to rationalise the legacy set-up of 8 OCRs and is in the process of moving to three OCR's based at Johnstone, Dundee and Edinburgh.In the interim period until the solution is implemented, it is necessary to ensure the maintenance and servicing of the existing solutions from legacy Fire Service areas. The interim solution shall focus on the East in Edinburgh and shall ensure temporary control room installation until the new solution has been fully implemented.
