Interim Residual Waste Treatment Services on behalf of Blaenau Gwent & Torfaen CouncilsBlaenau Gwent County Borough Council (BGCBC) and Torfaen County Borough Council (TCBC) require an arrangement to be delivered by a service provider for the treatment/processing/disposal and possible transportation of its non-hazardous, residual municipal waste. The authorities may also require the option of sorting recyclable materials from the residual waste.It is the intention to award a contract for the following periods:Blaenau Gwent: A period of three (3) years with an option for the Authorities to extend for a further five (5) years at yearly intervals; andTorfaen: A period of two (2) years with an option for the Authorities to extend for a further five (5) years at yearly intervals.
