Provision of Leisure Management Services

Bracknell Forest Council (the “Council”) is seeking to appoint a leisure management provider to operate 3 facilities: Bracknell Leisure Centre, Coral Reef and Downshire Golf Complex. The proposed contract is for 10 years starting on 1.3.2018 with an optional extension of a period of 5 years. The services are currently provided in-house by the Council. The Council will only award the contract if sufficient savings can be made while maintaining the high quality service. The procurement is being let in two separate lots, details are set out in Section II.2.This procurement is for “social and other specific services” under Schedule 3 of the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016. The Council intends to follow a “quasi-restricted procedure”.
