As part of the BBC's on-going commitment to bringing the best quality content to audiences, users are provided with relevant, effective links to external content providers in selected parts of the BBC's websites.These links are either manually selected (by journalists using editorial judgement) or automatically generated (based either upon the content on the relevant page or predefined BBC defined criteria related to that page), with all links displayed following the BBC's editorial guidelines.The BBC is acting on its own behalf and on behalf of any entity within the group of companies of which the BBC is the ultimate owner (e.g. BBC Worldwide Limited, BBC Global News Limited, BBC World Service and Media Applications Technologies Limited). Any reference in the PQQ to the BBC shall be deemed to include a reference to any entity within the group of companies of which the BBC is the ultimate owner, unless the context otherwise requires.The BBC is a global organisation and any provider must be able to provide links to a wide variety of content and websites from countries and languages around the world in order that the BBC can satisfy its audiences both within the UK and internationally.A more detailed summary of the services is set out in the PQQ documentation.
