The contract is to provide a continued, centralised, authoring & illustration service for the control, creation, promulgation, amendment and or revision of the technical documentation that supports equipments and platforms of the Royal Navy and Royal Fleet Auxiliary. Scope: Books of Reference (BRs); Including: Marine Engineering Guides (MEGs), Stability & Survivability Books (SSBs), Nuclear, Biological & Chemical Defence (NBCD), Damage Control Headquarters (DCHQ), Training Aid Books (TABs) and Composite Diagrams for submarines (CDs). The contract consists of a core, regular service with the facility to place additional ad-hoc tasks. The scope of this requirement covers a portfolio of over 8,000 technical documents, at a UK Security Classification of up to SECRET, including UK Eyes Only caveats. The requirement will also require occasional management of ITAR controlled material. It is expected that during the life of the contract vessels and equipments will enter and leave service. Consequently, the scope of the publications managed through this requirement may change.
