RPS Cardiff provides dosimetry services to approximately 500 locations mainly within Wales but also further afield within the UK. Our customers range from large NHS establishments to the single dental practitioner. We issue approximately 4000 whole body dosemeters and 500 extremity dosemeters per month. At present we are supplied with whole body dosemeters based on film technology and intend to move to an alternative in April 2011. We intend to invite tenders from suitable and interested parties for the bulk supply of personal dosemeters and associated services.The period of the contract will be for 3 years, with possible extensions of plus one, plus one years (5 years)
