Descriptions
The project monitor will provide independent, high-level oversight directly to the Department both during tender and during construction to ensure programme and budget controls are implemented and a quality project is delivered. DFA requests the services of a Project Monitor (PM) who is an experienced qualified building professional with exceptional project monitoring skills. The PM will have access to all the project information from the design team and will be given the authority by the client to attend site meetings and access the site. They will have no role in managing the design team, but will monitor and report on the project and advise the Department on progress and any ongoing issues or risks that may arise during the project, in particular in relation to cost, programme and quality.
