The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services at The Isis Academy.The Isis Academy is a community Special Academy for children and young people, aged 5-18, with complex special educational needs. Their students have a range of additional needs but primarily the Academy works with students with cognitive disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and/or Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties.The Isis Academy supports the social, emotional and academic growth of children and young people through the development of meaningful relationships and the delivery of an appropriate curriculum by experienced and skilled staff.We are a small school with just 120 students; we know each and every student, their history and their specific barriers to learning and success; we know each and every family and their aspirations for their children for the future. This, paired with the calibre of our staff, gives us the very best opportunity and starting point to plan and deliver teaching and learning and raising achievement activities, which will guarantee success. At The Isis Academy we value the achievements of all of our students and seek every opportunity to celebrate those achievements within the school, the family and the community.The Isis Academy are planning to refurbish their catering facilities over the summer break 2014 ready for the commencement of a new catering contract from September 2014. The Academy Head and her staff are looking for a contract caterer to work with them and raise the quality and standard of the catering service available to students.The contract will commence on 1.9.2014.
