Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School is a mixed comprehensive offering education to pupils aged 11 -16. Approximately 772 pupils attend the school which has 130 teaching and support staff.The Governors sought submissions from progressive organisations with a proven track record in the state school catering sector that have a particular emphasis on healthy eating. The Governors are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff, volunteers and contractor personnel to share this commitment.The Provider will prove a school meals service covering breakfast, lunch and morning breaks, and will also provide hospitality catering for school events and staff meetings, this may take place outside the normal hours of operationIt is likely that TUPE regulations will apply in any transfer of contract from the current providers.It is intended that the service provision will be a concession and have a duration of 5 years with 3 further one year extension periods possible by mutual agreement.
