Provision of Secure Data Sanitisation & Safe Disposal of Redundant ICT Equipment

The tenderer is required to provide a secure and value for money IT asset disposal service and must meet the following requirements as part of their response: The tenderer is an established company (evidenced by references) which will dispose of all Leicestershire County Councils IT assets that may be in working/non-working order and generate best value income from sale of redundant equipment for the council (assessment will be made via the tenderers response to the pricing table) Data Security - The council is seeking to move the destruction of data off site at the tenderer's asset disposal site. This must follow strict security procedures from the handover of assets to the tenderer, in-transit security and destruction at the supplier base. All data destruction must be evidenced and passed back the council. Data erasure software must meet industry standard (such as - ADISA and ISO - IEC27001) and LCC requirements. All destruction of IT assets must meet LCC/ government environmental standards. Any accreditations must be evidenced by the tenderer. The winning tenderer at LCC's request will need to provide information of the sale of redundant equipment to local community or charitable organisations. The winning tenderer will need to provide a monthly or quarterly report detailing income generated from the sale of LCC's redundant equipment, and key KPI information as agreed between LCC and the supplier. This will need to be in the form of a virtual or on-site meeting where appropriate.
