Provision of Services to Collate and Disseminate Information and Data about Air Pollution in the UK.

The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs wishes to let a contract on behalf of Central Government and Scottish Government, Welsh Government (WG) and Department of the Environment in Northern Ireland (DOENI), collectively known as the Devolved Administrations (DAs). DEFRA is the acting Authority and is looking for a supplier for the Data Dissemination Unit (DDU). The contract is for the provision of services to collate and disseminate information and data about air pollution in the UK on behalf of the Authority, and ensure that the UK meets the statutory public information requirements under European Commission Directive 2008/05/EC and the 4th Daughter Directive (2004/107/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council). The Authority has awarded a contract for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. As the same company was successful in tendering for both Lots, a single contract has been awarded for services in both Lots.
