Descriptions
Lift-maintenance services. Stevenage Borough Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor for the provision of comprehensive servicing and maintenance to lift equipment in it's sheltered schemes, residential buildings (flat blocks) and corporate buildings. There are currently 33 passenger lifts in Sheltered/Residential properties, 1 dumbwaiter hoist in a Sheltered property and 12 passenger lifts in Corporate properties. The schedule of lift equipment may be subject to change throughout the contract as lifts come in and out of service for varying reasons. The contract shall be for 3 years with the option to extend for up to a further 12 months. The contract does NOT include lift refurbishment.
