There is a requirement for planned overnight short breaks for older people and people living with dementia within Dumfries and Galloway. This will enable carers/people who require services to book overnight breaks in advance, to support the carer to also book a break for themselves if this is what they require. Currently, there is no option for carers to do this in Dumfries and Galloway.
