Soft Market Testing Exercise for the Provision of Standard and Specialist DSE and Ergonomic Assessments in Rhondda Cynon Taf. Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (The Council) is undertaking market testing in order to identify local suppliers qualified and capable of undertaking adhoc on-site specialist ergonomics and workplace DSE Assessments.Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) is situated in South Wales, bordering Powys in the North and extending to Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan in the South.The area is diverse, and The Council currently has approximately has 11,000 employees delivering its services from various sites within the County Borough in locations such as Aberdare, Tonyrefail, Pontypridd, Talbot Green, Treorchy, Tonypandy and Porth.The Council has its own policy for the assessment of workstations and requires managers to identify DSE Users and undertake an assessment of their workstation, which is then escalated should it be identified that an individual is suffering from a health complaint that may require Specialist ergonomic assessment.Assessments may take place in any council building, there is no guarantee of volume or orders. Assessors will be required to undertake assessments, provide reports, and also provide The Council with an unbiased and commercially aware equipment recommendation. Please note we are looking for an Assessor to recommend a solution and it is not intended that this will be for the supply of equipment recommended.Interested parties are invited to submit their expression of interest in undertaking this service in the form of a Curriculum Vittae or method statement which outlines qualifications and experience to undertake the services to Charlotte.Burgess@rctcbc.gov.uk by no later than 13:00 Friday 7th July 2017.
