East Renfrewshire Council wishes to invite offers from suitably qualified Taxi/Private Hire Services including Escorts for a safe, reliable and high quality service for the conveyance of Council Staff and persons authorised by the council, including both children and adults with various support needs.Service Users may have 1 or more of the following support needs:— Moderate or severe learning difficulties;— Physical disabilities;— Emotional and behavioural difficulties;— Sensory Impairment;— Medical Needs;— Age related support needs relevant to the carriage of children, protected adults and older people;— Able bodied Service Users.All service providers (except escorts) must be licensed and remain licensed with East Renfrewshire Council as taxi/private hire operators and/or taxi/private hire drivers at all time during the period of this contract.All journeys required will be organised, booked and managed by East Renfrewshire staff.There is no guarantee given with regard to East Renfrewshire Council's overall uptake.The Framework Agreement will have the top 5 suppliers appointed to this framework after evaluation.Note: The buyer is using PCS-Tender to carry out this procurement process.
