Descriptions

The successful tenderer will be required to provide the Equivalence Examination component of the Third Country Qualification Recognition (TCQR) route. The TCQR route is the regulatory process operated by the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) for pharmacists who obtained their qualification as a pharmacist in a country outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) who are seeking to have their qualification recognised so that they can then apply to register in Ireland. All aspects of the Equivalence Examination, including format, associated procedures and documentation, examination dates etc., must be agreed with the PSI.The proposed starting date for the project is 1 July 2023, with envisaged provision of the first Equivalence Examination in August 2023 and a further two examinations to be scheduled by end 2023. There will be a requirement for three sittings of the Equivalence Examinations over the duration of the initial contract awarded under this tender to be administered in 2023 and a minimum number of 80 candidates to be accommodated. Future contracts under this Framework Agreement will be awarded to meet service demands under the period covered. The Initial Contract is for the completion of services as specified in Section 3 of this Tender Document. The Initial Contract will be for an initial period of one (1) year with options to extend for two (2) periods of up to 12 months up to a maximum duration of three (3) years. It is envisaged that maximum spend over the maximum lifetime of this framework agreement will be in the range of €75,000 - €185,000 excluding VAT.It is emphasised, however, that this figure is provided strictly for indicative purposes only as there is no guaranteed expenditure under the framework agreement.
