Essex County Council (The Authority) has put in place a Contract for Toxicology Services for the HM Senior Coroner for Essex.The Contract is for the collection of samples from the 5 mortuaries in the Essex jurisdiction, undertaking of required tests and production of formal report on test results to the HM Senior Coroner. Toxicologists may be required to attend an inquest at the Essex Coroners Court at the request of HM Senior Coroner.The contract is for a period of 2 years with an option to extend for up to a further 2 years.
