Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) as lead body is seeking to appoint an appropriate delivery body to ensure compliance with all relevant statutory legislation regarding the management of trees and woodlands that are the responsibility of BCBC. Focus will be on the management of trees to reduce any associated hazards as well as the social, economic and environmental benefits that a healthy tree stock provides.The successful provider will also work with the Council to survey and assess its Tree Stock, review its approach towards Tree Management and put in place a new Policy, procedures and management plan with a dual focus on health and safety and environmental preservation and enhancement.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
