Provision of Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Descriptions

Historic Scotland has a requirement to purchase uniforms and protective clothing for various groups of staff. The majority of the items purchased will be off the shelf products. Successful suppliers will be tasked to source and supply all tartan, buttons, and any other materials required. Suppliers will also be required to hold stocks (as agreed by Historic Scotland) of the most popular items in specific sizes and styles to allow for speedier fulfilment of orders.This clothing and footwear requirement will be tendered in two different lots e.g. Lot 1 – Uniform Items (including design services for certain items), Lot 2 – Personal Protective Clothing and Footwear. This list is not exhaustive and may be subject to change. There may be a requirement within Lot 1 for additional items such as kilts and associated items which is required at Stirling and Edinburgh Castle.
