The Council requires an integrated Public Protection Software Solution to manage various functions, as listed below, that will integrate with current corporate solutions and provide a mobile platform working across all modules.As a general overview:-The solution must have integrated modules that utilise common functions such as road network, mapping system and mobile solution.-NLPG.- The supplier will be responsible for Historic records being exported from current systems and imported into new integrated system prior to implementation.- Mobile solution to record details on site, update records remotely and to take photographs and relate to records without back office intervention. Real time updates to device required along with automatic update of back office systems. Offline capabilities are essential.- Mobile devices to be supported by the supplier.- Desirable ability to manage all types of incoming enquiries including the functionality to scan and attach various items of correspondence or media, such as photographs, emails, videos, scans etc. to individual records.- Ability to perform in house upgrades to system.- Provide user training, technical support and software updates.- System backup and data recovery.- Password protected and defined user access.- Legal compliance with Data Protection 1998 etc. with ability to adapt to new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) due in May 2018.- Ability to put into test mode.- A fully integrated secure system – that provides comprehensive functionality to:- Record, update, maintain and interrogate premises data for all types of visits, service requests, samples, licences, permits, registration and approvals, etc;- Provide comprehensive search facilities;- Detailed reporting capacity - ability to run management reports, listing reports, statistical analysis reports, plus statutory and formal returns; including ability to export to Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel.The system will include as a minimum the following service areas requirements:Environmental Health;Trading Standards;Licensing;Waste Management;Private Sector Housing.Other areas may be added at a later stage and collaboration with other Local Authorities to utilise the system may also be a possibility.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=68170.
