PURCH2190 PROVISION OF CONTRACT AGREEMENT FOR A HIGH VACUUM LINE MASS SPECTROMETER WITH EXIMER LASER. The University of Glasgow School of Geographical and Earth Sciences intends to purchase a laser ablation-based helium extraction and measuring device for the mass spectrometric determination of 4He in individual mineral grains (apatite and zircon). The extraction of 4He should occur either with an IR laser or an excimer laser (ArF excimer gas with 193 nm wavelength).
