PURCH0966 Retrofitting of Molecular Beam Epitaxial Growth Chamber.
Descriptions
PURCH0966 For the Provision Supply and Installation Retrofitting of Molecular Beam Epitaxial Growth Chamber for Compound Semiconductor Growth. We are seeking equipment to convert an existing Veeco Gen III MBE system from a chamber previously used to growth dielectric materials, to a system capable of growing III-V semiconductor materials. The intension is to replace the existing cells with Group III Indium, Gallium and Aluminium cells. Group V Arsenic and Antimony valved crackers and Beryllium p-type, Silicon and Gallium Telluride n-type dopant sources. We would like to install shutter blades that are suitable for the materials used. We would like to install a high temperature manipulator that will allow us to heat a Si substrate to at least 1200 °C to prepare it for III-V growth to achieve very low anti-phase domain densities. All the installed cells and manipulator need to be controlled by the existing MBE Molly control software (appropriate or most up to date version as applicable at the time). We also need to install a chiller system to supply chilled glycol to the cell cyropanel down to a temperature of at least -20 °C while the machine is in operation.Tender documents available from Public Contracts ScotlandTender returns should be submitted via Public Contracts Scotland, no paper copies will be accepted.
