Descriptions
The aim is to provide bespoke support for families who are experiencing poverty or social exclusion as a result of factors such as debt, housing or employment problems. The focus is encouraging their financial literacy and management skills and capacity to minimise the impacts of poverty and/or social exclusion. The delivery model emphasises the provision of bespoke support to meet the specific requirements of individual families by practitioners with high levels of knowledge, confidence and expertise in addressing issues relating to income maximisation, debt, housing and employment. The contract will initially be for a period of 18 months with an option of a three year extension which will be renewable annually and subject to review of performance and local needs.
