Newport City Homes wish to replace all timber front and rear communal security doors to 97Nr blocks of flats and this scheme should include 138 doors of varying designs as highlighted in the Invitation to tender. A new modular style aluminium security door will be fitted which is constructed of hardened aluminium extruded section which is powder coated with a coloured finish. The new door must be certified under Secured by Design.The doors will have a new GPRS Access Control entry system fitted which will connect to the existing entry phones.
