To replace all timber front and rear communal security doors inMalpas –•Front with side panel with KMS system total 41•Rear with side panel with KMS system total 41Bettws -•Rear door with side panel with KMS system total 43•Rear door with KMS system total 13•KMS system fitted to existing front doors total 56Work will include all side panels where fitted and associated electrics and polycarbonate glazing. The doors will have a new KMS entry system and entry phones. Consideration can be given to replacing the doors with a “portcullis” style which is felt to be more visually attractive than our standard security door. The existing front security doors in Bettws will not be replaced however consideration should be given to converting to the new KMS entry system. Looking to the future the KMS system will offer greater opportunities to monitor and protect property. Provided finances allow this will be the most suitable opportunity to install the KMS system.Provide Resident liaison service throughout the contract. Inform residents prior to and during the works. Ensuring all resident are kept informed of when works are starting and be a point of contact prior to and during the works.
