Q.1423 Maintenance of Renal Reverse Osmosis Water Plants and Loops

The NHS Wales Shared Service Partnership (NWSSP), Procurement Services on behalf of the Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board are inviting quotations for Maintenance and Emergency Response Service for the Reverse Osmosis Water Plants and Loops which are based in four units across North Wales (Renal Unit, ITU & Cunliffe Ward in the Wrexham Maelor Hospital and the Welshpool Dialysis Unit). This is to include all home haemodialysis patients Reverse Osmosis setups and installations for new patients. It is an essential requirement that Emergency cover can be provided 365 days a year with a minimum response time of eight hours (although four hours response time is desirable).Quotations are invited for the provision of twelve months cover with an option to extend for a further twelve months.The contract options are either a PPM or Fully Comprehensive Contract both will require 1 PM visit per annum, the option chosen will depend on the need of the Health Board and the budget that is available. The award will be based on 100% price. Please ensure that you complete the Commercial envelope and the Pricing and Additional Information Attachments before submission.Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board recognises the importance of the Welsh language to the communities it serves. Consequently, responses to an invitation to quote or tender will be accepted in Welsh as well as English. However, please note that tender responses submitted only in Welsh will be translated by the Health Board into English before consideration.
