Prevention, Communities & Migration division at Birmingham City Council (the Council) is seeking a provider to develop and deliver a Pathway for Integration Web Portal (hereinafter the 'product') on behalf of the partnership. The Council being the lead partner/beneficiary for a funded EU (European Union) AMIF (Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund) Foundation for Integration Project. The Foundation for Integration Partnership is comprised of three external partners: ASIRT (Asylum Support and Immigration Resource Team) RMC ( Refugee and Migrant Centre, Black County and Birmingham) CELC (Central England Law Centre, Birmingham) and one internal partner NAIS (Neighbourhood Advice and Information Service). The development and roll-out of this product will be embedded into a pathway approach to preventing crisis and destitution and facilitating integration for Third Country Nationals making Birmingham their home. The primary objectives of the proposed portal are to both improve the access of advice to the target group and strengthening the current evidence base, retrieving and extracting data to inform local and national migration strategies. This data will also be used by the project partners to identify gaps within current service provision. It is also envisaged that the product will be used as a tool to develop research, policy and inform an ongoing strategy for the project partnership. This project is part-funded by the EU Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). Making management of migration flows more efficient across the European Union We are seeking proposals from organisations with a strong record of accomplishment in web portal development. This contract will be for a period of 1 year commencing 15th November 2021. Product Functionality: The product should have the capacity to collect a significant amount of anonymised data from partners and from other sources to produce complex reports supporting the project's objectives and to influence/inform migration research, policy and strategy in the region. and the product will also Allow access to a secure Practitioner Area for advisers/organisations/professionals from the statutory and third sectors to facilitate referral mechanisms, keep up to date with work in the field and encourage collaborative working, provide additional data for the project to support objectives. This is an area where documents, i.e. training resources and briefings can also be accessed. Provide an interactive experience for external visitors to learn about the project and the wider migration sector in Birmingham. Have multi-lingual capabilities and meet user standards for the visually impaired and hard of hearing.
