The Authority is seeking to appoint a number of Providers onto a Framework for the provision of Quantitative Modelling Standing Capacity for Epidemiological Modelling for Animal Health. The purpose of this Framework is to enable the Authority or Contracting Body to raise a Call-off Contract for the Services, if and when required. These Services may be required in the event of an outbreak of animal disease occurring anywhere within England, Wales or Scotland.Quantitative modelling provides evidence to support policy making in the event of an Outbreaks and in between Outbreaks to support outbreak preparedness and policy development, for example, to provide an evidence base for proposed legislative changes. In doing so, quantitative modelling informs policies that support the protection of public health and the economy from animal and plant diseases which in turn enable a sustainable, secure and healthy food supply.As this Framework is specifically for Epidemiological Modelling for Animal Health, it cannot be divided further into Lots.As the nature of this work is in relation to emergency situations, it is not possible to specify a frequency of contracts to be awarded or maximum amount of spend.
