Queen's School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences seeks to purchase an automated patch clamp apparatus. The system will offer the ability to patch clamp a variety of cell types including primary cells, stem cells and differentiated cells. The automated patch clamp apparatus will be primarily used by PhD students and should be able to provide reliable giga seals with minimal user training. The automated patch clamp apparatus will be required to combine ease of use with excellent functionality, suitable for our expanding research interest in ion channels.
