Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking a contractor to identify the optimal operating structure of the Tywi Centre. The Tywi Centre is currently based within the Planning Department within the Environment Department, and provides training and information on the built heritage of Wales.The contractor will assess the compatibility of the aims of the Tywi Centre with the strategic aims and statutory and operational outcomes of Carmarthenshire County Council; review the potential markets for Tywi Centre services; identify the most appropriate operating structure for the future governance of the Tywi Centre within the legal frameworks open to Carmarthenshire County Council; ascertain the optimal stake that Carmarthenshire County Council should retain in any future Tywi Centre body; and draw up a check list of actions to be considered by both parties in order to achieve and operate the proposed structure.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=51298.
