Weston Area Health Trust is a 240 bed hospital which provides first class health care to over 200,000 patients. It is in an area that has tourists swell and an ageing population with complex needs. The Trust is looking for a security and parking service contract to provide holistic security across the Weston General Hospital site and parking enforcement 24/7. The Trust currently provides its own ‘Back office' enforcement process for approximately 770 parking spaces and we are looking for the contract to support this program.The security aspect is required to provide a visible, comprehensive and professional service which supports the Trust's staff, patients and visitors. We will need a service that supports our staff deal with violence and aggression through a variety of measures, including the presence of security officers and we require a professional customer service focus in all interactions with staff and patients. At all times crime and risk reduction is key to the role.Over the life of the contract Weston Area Health Trust will see changes, some of which we can't yet comprehend and we require a contractor who is prepared to be flexible in their approach and where required, offer and provide solutions, often at short notice and with the minimum of disruption. We are looking for a partner that can adapt with us. We are looking for security officer practices to be brought up to date using technology based reporting systems, effective patrol management and a solutions based ideology.
