> The Fire and Rescue Services within Wales:– South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, Mid & West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service are collaborating to procure Radiation Protection Adviser Services to ensure and demonstrate compliance with the requirements of the Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999 (IRR99) and to meet the National FRS Guidance.>> In order for the three Welsh FRS’s to demonstrate the requirements of the Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999 (IRR99) and the National FRS Guidance pertaining to radiological incidents the following criteria must be met by any contracted RPA.>> For more information regarding the specific requirements please refer to the attached quotation pack.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=23890.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
