The Royal Borough is seeking bids to provide support services to Kensington and Chelsea residents who have the aspiration to start and run successful enterprises. Revenue funds of up to £150,000, over a three year period, are available, for highly effective services that will be accessible to residents from a variety of backgrounds, but especially those with a recent history of worklessness or underemployment. In addition, up to £100,000 of capital funding is available, to form the basis of a start-up and micro-business loan facility, that will be managed by the successful bidder. This funding will be drawn down from the Council as loans are agreed.
