3rd Sector provision of NHS funded Health Services in North West London
Descriptions
Central London, Hammersmith & Fulham and West London CCGs recognise the value and benefit to be offered by 3rd sector organisations in the design and delivery of health care services to local patients. Perceptions and experiences of NHS procurement processes can be off putting to many 3rd sector organisations when NHS commissioners are offering contracts to deliver health related services. Whilst NHS commissioners often receive high quality tenders from the 3rd sector, they have also received tenders much less likely to succeed in winning a contract following a competitive tendering process. 3rd sector organisations having a potential interest in the provision of health care related services in the localities of the above CCGs (within North West London) are invited to attend an engagement event in the Westminster area of London at 12noon till 3pm on Friday 12th June 2015. The event will include key input from NHS Shared Business Services, who are now supporting the NW London CCGs in the field of procurement process and the event will include: **When do NHS Commissioners need to use competitive tendering? **Understanding what NHS Commissioners are looking for when inviting bids. **What makes a good tender submission? What does a bad tender look like? **What should 3rd sector organisations be considering together? **Myth busting and a question & answer session. If the above is beneficial to better understand as a 3rd sector organisation, express your interest to attend by getting in touch ASAP, as places will need to be limited.
