Receipt, Storage , Delivery and Demonstration of Specialist Equipment Packs and Beds

Wrexham County Borough Council Adult Social Care Department is looking for a Provider to receive, store, distribute & demonstrate specialist equipment packs and beds to Care Homes at various locations across the County Borough.At this stage, we are only asking for expressions of interest but we anticipate going out to tender early in the New Year, should the level of response deem it necessary.Time:The packs and beds will ideally need to be delivered in January 2018 but, should a tender exercise be required, delivery will be required as soon as possible after contract award.Service Requirements:1.To receive, store, then distribute and demonstrate 17 Specialist Equipment packs and 80 beds to Care Homes across Wrexham County Borough.2.Each pack will contain the following items:Item NameNumberCompanyBirdie Hoistx1InvacareDeluxe Hammockx4(1 each of S/M/L/Ex-L)DriveStandaidx1DriveTA180x1MackworthFoam Mattressx1InvacareLow Bed Etude Plusx1InvacareMolift Raiser R82x1ETACGlideabout Commodex1NRS Healthcare3.The provider will put together the equipment into packs and store until packs are assembled and ready to distribute, then contact each Home to arrange delivery dates and distribute the packs accordingly.4.The provider will be expected to transport the equipment to the relevant room, assemble it, if required, then offer a full demonstration of all equipment to nominated Care Home staff, at the time of delivery.
