The Homes and Communities Agency wish to appoint a specialist contractor for reclamation works at the Future Skills Centre land which is situated within the former Louisburg Barracks site, Bordon, Hampshire. The works include the removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials, demolition of minor buildings, removal of hard standing areas, tree clearance and topsoil removal, site remediation and construction of a new site access track. Works are not expected to be notifiable under CDM 2015. Evidence is to be provided that all insurances cover asbestos removal, demolition and remediation works as a core business activity. Contractors must have in place Public and Employers Liability insurance cover of £10 million and £10 million to undertake this Contract respectively. The contract will be awarded based on value for money. Tenders will be appraised on both commercial and quality submissions.
