The Authority are seeking to procure a Record Management System (RMS) that will manage the end to end process of Crime and Incident Management through to court conclusion.The system shall have the capability to replace the Force’s current Crime, Intelligence, Case and Custody and Public Protection systems. However the system shall not be restricted to just these applications and will provide the opportunity to replace other silo Force systems.The implementation of an RMS is a strategic fit with the activity areas identified as being key to delivering the Force’s strategic priorities, namely but not limited to: Improving Crime Management Making the best use of resources Transforming service delivery by taking full advantage of new technology Improving Public Confidence and SatisfactionAs part of the package Gwent Police Authority would also require on-going support and maintenance throughout the life of the contract.The contract should be for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years.
