Wrexham County Borough Council (‘the council’) invites tenders for a Recycled Aggregates, Concrete, and Bituminous Mixtures Testing Contract.The contractor will be expected to collect dry aggregate and concrete samples from the Depo (address listed below within the specification) to test to the appropriate standard and issue certificates. Aggregate samples are to be taken and tested every 500 tonnes (approx. once a month), and concrete samples are to be taken and tested every 3 months.When required, the contractor will also need to attend various working sites across Wrexham County Borough, to take samples of bituminous materials being laid, to test. A report will then need to be produced by the contractor on these materials.It will also be necessary to attend finished work sites and take cores of materials that have been laid. A report will then needs to be produced based on the test findings.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
