Descriptions
Guildford Borough Council (GBC) intends to redevelop an existing open-air car park situated in Guildford Park Road, to provide:(i) A multi storey car park [410 spaces approximately];(ii) Approximately 100 residential units (flats and houses) comprising 50 % affordable and 50 % market sale properties;(iii) Associated infrastructure.The Council wishes to appoint a consultant to provide all necessary professional services (including project management, architectural, engineering, landscape architecture, QS / cost consultancy, surveying, property management and all related ancillary services) in the development and delivery of the project objectives.The successful candidate will be required to work with the Council to develop the design and to assist in the evaluation of project delivery mechanisms. The outcome of this evaluation process will determine the eventual scope of services but these could include:— Design to RIBA Stage 3 / Design to RIBA Stage 4;— Preparation of all tender documentation;— Procurement of the development contract;— Administration of the development and contract during RIBA stages 5 - 7.Project Delivery is subject to planning approcal being granted. The Council is not obligated to pursue one or any option.
