The Royal Academy of Music is seeking to procure Executive Architectural design services, Mechanical Electrical and Pipework (MEP) Engineering design services and Structural Engineering design services for a c. 10 000 000 GBP project to refurbish the Sir Jack Lyons Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music, Marylebone Road NW1, London.The project will consist of the following works:To provide a new performance auditorium and associated ancillary spaces including new stage, balcony, proscenium, wings, orchestra-pit extension, control room, new theatre roof and fly-tower, services upgrade, new plant room enclosure, new ventilation system to existing practice rooms, works to main building façade, a spacious new gallery foyer and 100 seat roof-top recital hall.Planning Consent for the proposed works has been obtained from City of Westminster.Planning Reference number: PT/TP 7750
