Refurbishment of Roof Covering at Maesteg Fire and Rescue Station

> South Wales Fire and Rescue Service provide emergency cover and prevention services to a wide geographical area. This ranges from Chepstow in the East, to Porthcawl in the West and from Abergavenny in the North down to the coast.>> To support South Wales Fire and Rescue Service's Building and Land Management Plan, the Property Services Department have a requirement to appoint a suitably qualified roofing contractor to undertake various refurbishment works to the roof covering situated at Maesteg Fire and Rescue Station.>> The appointment will be made under the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Short Contract June 2005, details of which are contained within clause A20 of the preliminaries.>> In Summary, the work comprises:1. Reinstatement of missing fixings2. Treatment of mast, soil and pipe penetrations3. Treatment of up stands to the vents and sun pipes4.
