Refurbishment of the Former Library at Pillgwenlly, Newport, South Wales

Descriptions

The proposed works comprise the internal and external refurbishment of the former Pillgwenlly Library, Temple Street, Newport where the three storey late Victorain building retains many of the original period details. Complete internal re-modeling will be necessary including a new mezzanine floor, internal staircase, lift and external fire escape. Works to the external elevations will include cleaning and repairs to existing stonework and brickwork, and roofing repairs together with the renewal of cast iron goods.
