Dundee City Council is the contracting authority on behalf of The Dundee Partnership.The contract is expected to initially be for nine months and should commence on 1.7.2014. This is subject to availability of funding from the new Scottish Government programme of European funds. The contract will end on 31.3.2015. Prior to this date, a formal assessment of the contract – its activities, services and performance and an evaluation of the effectiveness of the overall pipeline approach will take place. Should this be assessed as satisfactory by the Dundee Partnership and Dundee City Council as the lead authority of the Partnership, the contract will be extended by one year, from 1.4.2015 to 31.3.2016. This is also subject to availability of funding. Prior to 31.3.2016, a further assessment and pipeline evaluation will take place and again if satisfactory, and further funding is available, a further extension to 31.3.2017 will be offered.The Dundee Partnership (Dundee's Community Planning Partnership) is a joint venture comprising various key city agencies including Dundee City Council, The Third Sector Interface, Jobcentre Plus, Skills Development Scotland and NHS Tayside.
