Remediation of Asbestos Containing Soil at BMX Track

This project was commissioned in order to allow the BMX track at Old Dagenham Park to be returned to its current designation as a sports facility for cyclists of all ages and to mitigate any potential environmental impact associated with the presence of asbestos. The project is for Remediation works including: •Site set up - creation of 'clean' and 'dirty' areas to prevent the movement of impacted soils off site •Asbestos air monitoring during remediation •Re-profiling of earth embankments/construction of gabion baskets •Construction of clean cover system as per specification provided in Remediation Method Statement •Importation of clean topsoil (certified free from contamination) The deadline for Tender Submissions is 2pm Friday 3rd February 2017.
